Hoar frost

Nobody earth-bound could describe such heavenly colours.

A palette for sky. Seamless above with pastel hues blending.

Stars aligned to mark the occasion.

Glancing up? Sky  does it no justice. It was a firmament of Pre-

Raphaelite proportions. Too special for dewfall was this morning.

So flawless that every drop crystalized to preserve the serenity.

The very air felt hushed in awe.

All apertures were landscapes today. Car window windscreen mirror

gifted as with each passing second the vibrancy leached away.

A moment of moments brief and unexpected and all the more sacred

for that. I yearn for such beauty tomorrow, to gladden my eyes, and turn

my work way journey in to a gallery.
