BOOK DIVING (OR THE LOVE OF READING)

I HAVE MISSED MY BLOG WRITING  TOO MUCH TO STAY AWAY.

IT FEELS LIKE RUNNING BACK IN TO A LOVER’S EMBRACE.

HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!

THE UTTER JOY OF THE PLUNGE:

TASTING SHARP, TANG, BURN OF WORDS.

WHOLE SELF IMMERSED IN TEXT

WITH EYES BATHED THEN SCOURED BACK TO LINE BEGINNINGS.

HEAD AND HEART MILLPOND CALM

YET WITH GLOWERING TUMBLING TONES

GRASP. WRENCH RIPTIDE CURRENTS

ALL AS I READ- DRINK IN WORDS. THIS GREATEST

TREASURE, RAREST GIFT OF READING.

  1. I love this and know just how you feel. My muse is still wandering about in the ether somewhere. Wish she’d come home; I miss her. x

Missed your writings, words are obsessive – they haunt you if you don’t keep using them. Just write when the mood takes you. Snowman still here for Rafe. He has his dog to keep him company. Will send via Peter and Kathryn when they come to lunch tomorrow. Auntie B

Hello Auntie B. You are exactly right. Words can and do haunt if neglected. Thank you so much for Rafe’s Snowman. Love you x
